Just for the classmates that have been following, I will continue to work on my blog from time to time and you are more than welcome to continue reading. This is my blog and therefor I will tell whats on my mind but I will remind you it will stay clean because I am a clean person and a mother to a 3 year old.
December 4, 2010- I lost the greatest man alive, H. Richard Cannon. He was my grandfather a short period of time when I was young but he was always in my heart. He played a great role in many peoples life and will always have a great impact on people years from now. On Wednesday, December 8, 2010, we had a great celebration for his home going. So many people had wonderful things to say about him and that made his home going so much easier but it is still so hard to believe he is gone. You never realize how much someone means to you until they are gone. I love you Papaw and I will always be your girl...
December 10, 2010- I would have to say is one of the greatest days of my life, and that comes close to the day Olivia was born. We had out final court date, and YES, YES!!! The Judge terminated as the attorney said "the sperm donors" rights. I about died when the attorney stood in front of the Judge and the people in the court and called him a sperm donor but guess the truth hurts.. And he always signed the papers to change her last name. So Olivia now shares the same last name as me. I would have to say those are the best Christmas gifts I could have ever gotten..
Hope everyone is getting ready for Christmas because in 10 days kids will be waking up to stuff that Santa Claus left them. This year is going to be so much fun with Olivia. She is so excited about Santa Claus coming and she is not even scared of him. I am so excited to see her face Christmas morning, and when she opens all her presents. She is going to enjoy it so much. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. If I don't blog before Christmas I will be blogging after Christmas for sure with pictures of Olivia's Christmas fun.

What I think about this class?
I have really enjoyed taking this class and so glad that I have had a wonderful teacher to learn under. Mrs. Dunaway has made this class a blast and a great learning experience. I have enjoyed the blogs and reading others classmates blogs as well. I had been contimplating for the longest on rather I wanted to start a blog or not because so friends of mine do one and found it interesting. My mind was made up for me!
The power point presentation was fun as well. It was a trying project trying to figure out our to embed the music and to make sure everything worked as planned. It was also a time the brought back the good and bad memories. I have thought about doing one for my daughter for when she got older but I have already started a photo album and I will just stick with that.
I hope everyone else has had a great experience in this class and does well with all their finals. I will continue you blog so you can feel free to continue to follow. My blogs will be clean blogs but I will warn you, they may get touchy it all depends on the subject I guess.
December will be a great but trying month for me. Holidays are always the hardest since my divorce and my daughters father walked away from her. I will have court next Friday and I am sure I will blog about that after it is all said and done. Please say a quick prayer for me that day that I hold up. I am always thankful for getting a small break from school. This semester got a little trying at times but I held on tight and made it through. I can not wait until Christmas, this year is going to be such much fun. Olivia is getting excited as well as we are putting presents under the tree and can not wait until Santa gets here.
Well I hope everyone has had a great semester. Merry Christmas and God Bless.

Thanksgiving Holiday's
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Holiday and didn't eat to much. This year I have been thankful for so many things. As we all know, we had a devastating tornado to hit our community on April 24. As, I have posted in a previous blog, my grandmother's house was taken in this awful tornado. So this Thanksgiving, we are spending our first holiday in my grandmother's new house. I wish I had a picture to post of her new house. I am thankful that God took the house and not my grandmother and uncle. The old house holds so many memories and thankful that we still have those memories.
Our Thanksgiving was nice this year. We missed my step-dad so much during the holiday's. This was the first holiday he has missed but he is in North Carolina working, but we added another great grand this year and had 2 guest for dinner. All the kids enjoy playing together after dinner while we all sit around and talk about Christmas and past holidays.
I made the Black Friday sales again this year but I was not a early bird. I didn't need any electronics and my 3 year old didn't either. I did hit Wal-Mart up about 8:30 Friday morning and then ventured on to Flowood. Thank God I got all my shopping done in that one day. I can now sit back and enjoy the holiday's and start catching up in my work at the office. This semester has kinda got my desk covered because I have focused on school so much.
Well I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Holiday. I will finish up finals Thursday in this class. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Good Luck on all your finals you have left.

Veteran's Day
The American flag does not fly because the wind moves past it -The American flag flies from the last breath of each military member who has died protecting it. THANK YOU to all of the women and men who have served, are currently serving or will serve in the future in any of our military/armedforces branches.
I am a Veteran's sister. A Veteran's sister is someone who stands beside
someone who wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America
for an amount up to, and including, their own life. Regardless of
personal political views, that is an honor, and there are way too many
...people in this country who no longer remember that fact.......I am proud
to be a Veteran's sister. ♥ I love you Max Forrest
Today makes me so proud! I am very thankful to be not only a sister to a veteran, but a niece, a cousin, and a friend to people who has served our country and also took the time out of their life to enlist and show interest for our freedom. I am also Thankful for the awesome God that we serve. Without our God we would not have the veteran's to be thankful for.
I am proud to live in a free country. No our country is not in the best standing, but no one is perfect. We can't only rely on our government to get us through, we have to hand our government over to our Father and let him take control and lead them in the right direction. Please continue to pray for our veteran's, their families, and our government.
Also, my court has been changed due to someone getting the flu. I have rescheduled it for December 10th, and ask for everyone to pray that everything goes as planned. I hope everyone has a great week and is getting prepared for finals. God Bless!!

November: A Thankful Month
November is a great month to let everyone know just how thankful you are. Many people started naming something they are thankful for on www.facebook.com. I have had many friends post some of the most sencere things but I have seen the worst I could ever imagine. This month I am Thankful for so many things.
This week I an thankful for my family. I have been blessed with the most loving and caring family. Most of the year the family is split with work, because most of the men work on the pipeline. This year we have been lucky to have the men close by in Alabama and Florida. My step dad was in Florida for a couple weeks and is now in South Carolina. My step dad is now the furthest away.
I am also thankful that my family has supported me with every decision I have made the past 2 years for Olivia. When all the decisions are left for one person to make it gets very over whelming. This leads to my picture heading this paragraph. I am thankful that my court date to finish all legal documents concerning Olivia is Tuesday, November 9. I am asking everyone to please say a quick prayer for me.
I am also for the family that I belong to at church. As my preacher stated today, "I could not ask for a better family." Although most of the congregation at church is 20+ years older than me, I really enjoy learning from them and hearing about their experiences with life. They are such Godly people and great role models.
Today at church marked our 2nd Annual Homecoming Service. We celebrated the church's 102 Birthday! We had visitors to come in and share stories with us about the church, and had people share the word through song. We also had a big dinner on the grounds which was a little bit chilly. We had a great day, and this new time has got me all messed up..
I am very thankful. Good night!

Fall Festivities and Halloween!
WOW! October has been a very busy month for Olivia and I. We started October off by painting pumpkins. Olivia loved painting her pumpkins. Olivia is very artsy and craftsy when we let her. After Olivia painted her pumpkins her Poppy came home with a huge pumpkin from Alabama, but it never got painted.
Mid-October our church had its fall party and hayride. We gathered all the friends and family up and spent a cool Saturday evening socializing and having fun together. After we all ate and enjoyed each other we loaded the kids up for the hay ride and boy was they excited. On the hay ride we discussed halloween costumes and sang songs.
After the hay ride Olivia came down with her first ever ear infection and boy was it a rough one. Along with the ear infection she had a sinus infection. During this time, we found out that she can not take Augmiten or Amoxocillion. Those medicines do not agree with her well and needless to say made potty training very hard at first but in the end we got great news. Olivia is official potty trained in all areas, but those accidents are still expected. I am so excited to get that done now.
So the trick-or-treating started Friday, October 29 in Starkville at the Pumpkin Palooza. Olivia and her cousin Adilyn had so much fun going business to business trick-or-treating. The girls also got to watch the MSU cheerleaders perform for all the people that came. Olivia was a "princess" this year and Adilyn was a "go-go" girl. Adilyn's mom and I have so much fun preparing the girls to go trick-or-treat.
Saturday, October 30, Olivia and I attended Weir Attendance Center's fall festival. She won her first cake in the cake walk and she was so excited. After the festival we trick-or-treated a few houses and came home to hand out candy. I always enjoy seeing all the different costumes each year. This has been a busy month for us. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we have. Good night!

Worlds Greatest Job: Motherhood!
On July 17, 2007, Olivia Saige was born! I was absolutely out of this worlds with happiness the first time I heard her cry, and 3 years later being able to hear her cry makes me the happiest. Olivia came into this world 13 days early and weighing nine pounds and three ounces. Olivia was 20 1/2 inches long. The hospital stay was a short 32 hours or less. Olivia was doing so good and scoring so high on all her test.
Needless to say, I had a great delivery but stayed sich the entire time I was pregnant. Not only did I have the all day sickness, Olivia had ran out of room to grow so therefore, she was pushing on my organs. Olivia had pushed my gallbladder up and tissue began growing over it, and eights weeks after delivery I was wheeled into surgery to remove my gallbladder.
Olivia was growing so fast and catching on to things fast as well. Olivia was a big eater and tried to do everything on her own. July 17, 2008, Olivia turned one years old. The year 2008 was a rough year for me, and I thank God everyday Olivia is to young to remember anything. May 2008, Olivia's father walked out on us and hadn't seen him since.
Olivia and I made it through 2008 just fine. Before we knew it, 2009 snuck up on us and Olivia was turning two years old. August 2009, we decided Olivia needed to be put in day care so she can interact with more kids and give her NeNe a break. Olivia loved school and was way ahead of her class mates, but was still learning more things everyday. She is such a blessing to have and always makes me smile no matter how mad she makes me. My mom always told me when Olivia was just a few months old that I was going to have my hands full, and boy was she right. Olivia is my little drama queen.

Now, I have the smartest, wittiest, and the sweetest drama queen you will ever meet. Olivia turned three years old on July 17, 2010. She is now in K-3 and teaching me new things everyday. Olivia is definitely a little diva! Olivia is always singing and dancing whenever she hears music. On days that I feel that I am at my lowest, Olivia brings me back to my highest level and makes me smile and laugh. I could not imagine my life without her in it. Olivia has given me the best job and title in the world. I think being a mother is the best gift anyone can have. There are hard times in parenting but I always look to our awesome God we serve and ask for guidance. Mommy loves you Olivia Saige.
