Needless to say, I had a great delivery but stayed sich the entire time I was pregnant. Not only did I have the all day sickness, Olivia had ran out of room to grow so therefore, she was pushing on my organs. Olivia had pushed my gallbladder up and tissue began growing over it, and eights weeks after delivery I was wheeled into surgery to remove my gallbladder.
Olivia was growing so fast and catching on to things fast as well. Olivia was a big eater and tried to do everything on her own. July 17, 2008, Olivia turned one years old. The year 2008 was a rough year for me, and I thank God everyday Olivia is to young to remember anything. May 2008, Olivia's father walked out on us and hadn't seen him since.
Olivia and I made it through 2008 just fine. Before we knew it, 2009 snuck up on us and Olivia was turning two years old. August 2009, we decided Olivia needed to be put in day care so she can interact with more kids and give her NeNe a break. Olivia loved school and was way ahead of her class mates, but was still learning more things everyday. She is such a blessing to have and always makes me smile no matter how mad she makes me. My mom always told me when Olivia was just a few months old that I was going to have my hands full, and boy was she right. Olivia is my little drama queen.
Now, I have the smartest, wittiest, and the sweetest drama queen you will ever meet. Olivia turned three years old on July 17, 2010. She is now in K-3 and teaching me new things everyday. Olivia is definitely a little diva! Olivia is always singing and dancing whenever she hears music. On days that I feel that I am at my lowest, Olivia brings me back to my highest level and makes me smile and laugh. I could not imagine my life without her in it. Olivia has given me the best job and title in the world. I think being a mother is the best gift anyone can have. There are hard times in parenting but I always look to our awesome God we serve and ask for guidance. Mommy loves you Olivia Saige.
Shes a gorgeous little girl and I can tell that she is your little blessing. Its hard to raise children in this day and time, but especially, alone. I was mommy to two girls and a son, and I feel blessed every day to have them.
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely blessed to have Olivia. The two of you will have difficulties, and when she is all grown up, you will wonder what happened to you baby girl. Too bad there is not some way to go back to visit those sweet innocent little ones. Enjoy her every minute of every day; you will be proud you did.
ReplyDeleteOlivia is a very cute little girl. I believe that you need to take advantage of all the time that you can have with her. Before you know it she will be grown and you will wonder where the time went. It is very hard when your children are grown and leave. But when the grandchildren come along it is absolutely wonderful.
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute and I love your background of your blog. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is so cute. She is truly a blessing.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone ever told you that the two of you look alike? Bet you have heard that before. My #1 advise from one mother to another: We aren't called to make our children happy, but we are called to make them holy. Enjoyed your post and the pictures.
ReplyDeleteYes, I get told everyday that we look alike.. I will post baby pictures of Olivia and I soon and you will really see we look alike. I am very thankful she looks like me.
